For the last few weeks I have really been happy to do anything or do must things. In other words I have been real lazy and un motivated, after all the high hopes I set myself to come crashing down on me like a house on fire. To be honest it's my own fault, I am so used to setting my standards so high that when it comes crashing down I am just so angry with myself. Now I have learnt my lesson and won't be setting such high standards of myself again. Why was this you say. Was it because no one pushed me to believe in myself? No one encouraged me? Well no it's not. People don't start to believe in you till you believe in yourself and people don't start to encourage you until they actually see something in progress. It's just the way it is really.
A lot of people tell me not to set my standards too high because it will only turn to disappointment, which is true in so many ways. However if I don't set high standards of myself does that mean that I become like every other average person? Mhm.
Amongst my group of friends I am called the dreamer, I like dreaming because I know there is much more to my life than just now and because I have acceptable standards of myself I will run towards it. I like a bit of challenge.
I have one question to ask you guys do you think it's arrogant to have high standards of ones self?
People who know me, know very well that I don't wait to be encouraged before I do something, instead I push myself before people start encouraging me. I am so used to discouragement that I know if I let it get me to me, I might as well jump off Tower Bridge and forget I ever existed. To be honest it is nice when people do encourage you to do something because it's like showing them that although you are taking whatever you're facing on, you are also prepared to face the giants that come your way.

To tell you the truth....
OK so I have been away from the blogger world recently and I am sorry for those who care, I promise I will blog more in the future. Problem is for me to write things down I need inspiration and luckily I have. I called it 'To tell youth truth...' because lately I have just been doing my own thing and quite proud of myself for doing so.
To tell you the truth, in college I don't really hang with anyone that often. Yep exactly just me and my work and I am so happy because I feel free and at peace with myself. To be honeset I love this feedom because I actually enjoy the value work, not that I haven't before, just feels better this year. I promised myself that I am not really going to hang with so many people this year and glad I don't. Working in college as well as out has never felt so good. No more times in the canteen except from when I want to eat. I feel happy! Only thing I hate is that the libary is always packed, as well as the computer room and they lock the MAC suite....ARGH! How do they think I can get my media work done! Anywho apart from that I am actually happy, even if I am so tempted to drop out of college.
Another thing I have noticed that I am also starting to see peoples true colours, which makes me think twice about hanging out with some people. I have learnt not to use the term friends so easily these days. Some not even acquaintances. Now I am not a person who will tell everyone that I have an issue, but recently since Summer Camp 2010 I have been more open with people, but not just anyone. Since then I have learnt to let some people in and shut a lot of people out. One reason why I have shut some people out is because when they have a problem, you are all eyes and ears, however when you have a problem, they don't want to hear. I had to deal with that for too long, now, no more. I can't be bothered with them. Another reason is because when some are talking to you, you will be having a nice cha till someone else comes along and they complety dismiss you....dismiss you as in you were never there.
To tell you the truth, I hate collge. Now this is not Mazzie just being a teenager, I honestly HATE college. It's not the people and/or the teachers, it has nothing to do with them I just hate it. The sonner A-Levels die, the sooner I can live my life without worrying about what crappy grade I am getting next. Not really an academic person, as some people may already know, but oh well each to their own. I am just working with what I got because I want to go to NYFA next year.
So many people have told me to stop saying I hate college, for so many reasons, but to be honest if I kept saying college is great or constanlty using everyone's favourite word, 'alright' I would be lying. So world I hate college. Just staying because uni needs my grades.
(BTW if you haven't already clocked I am staying in college....woop!! *NOT!!*). I am going to endure the pain and puke it back up in JUNE! Yes exaclty that long.
To tell you the truth I have also come to the concluion that I want to do alot of things and I don't know when. I am a big dreamer and I love setting my standards high, because if I work where everyone is expecting me to work, I would just be like evryone else. Most things that are going to be on my list will maybe be accomplish before I am 25. I am planning on writing a list of things to accomplish before then. Well to start off before uni and we will see where we go, but that is another blog for another time.
XOXO

Making an impact and keeping your career/vision/dreams alive.
Hey guys, I am back for another blog and this time I am talking about keeping your dream and vision alive, from a Christian perspective. (I am done with caring what others think when I use Jesus as an example).
MAKE AN IMPACT
I have always thought to my self that if there is something that you really want to do, do it. Whether it's in the field of performing arts or sciences, do it. The world is waiting on you to make an impact. Like the Francesca Battistelli song says, "It's your life, what you gonna do the world is watching you" I am 17 and I know I want to make an impact in my generation. Actually I NEED to make an impact in my generation, I can't leave this world knowing that I didn't make an impact in anyones lives, I might as well be like the rest of the world.
I want to make an impact for the better so that people are talking about me and my work 2,000+ years later. Look at Jesus people are talking about him. Whether you believe in him or not, as soon as you say Jesus, you are talking about Him. Another thing people still believe in him 2,000+ years later.
Shakespeare, who is considered to be the greatest play writer ever is still being talked about today, even though he died in like the 1600. Charles Dickens an English literature writer who died in the 1800's, people are talking about his work. I want that too be me and I want there to be accounts of people that I made an impact on.
YOUR CAREER/VISION/DREAM
Don't let people discourage you when it comes to the vision you have been given. People have always asked me, how are you going to get your career going? How are you going to get the money? Who is going to help you? It gets really annoying when people ask you questions like this all the time. What about you? What are you doing to get to your chosen career? Are you working on it now? Or are YOU making up excuses not to start your career or keep the vision you have for your life alive? I heard a preacher say, "man delights in the end product, but God delights from the beginning", (well something like that was said). I have always been told that no-one is too young to start living for their destiny, you don't need to wait till you have your degree to fully do what you need to do. Have you talked to people who are in your relevant career? I know I have. Right now I am in contact with someone who works in Hollywood and I have asked them about tips to make my scripts better and what department of the production world they work in, this helped me a lot because I can get a better understanding of other departments of the video production world . I am also working on two screen writing projects and that is what I am doing to keep my dream alive. Hollywood ain't gonna come to me overnight, I have too meet it half way. No way I am going to be a Hollywood writer if I don't start writing Hollywood.
Some people consider it arrogance if you constantly go on about where you want to be, once God is in the equation it ain't arrogant because he is in the equation. They consider it arrogance because they can't see the foundation but they can see the end product. The buildings we see now, when they were first built it looked like a mess. Bricks everywhere, planks and scaffolds, now they are beautiful buildings. From that all I have to say is, don't rely on man to make your dream come alive, we each have our own responsibilities and don't just leave God to do all the work. He wants to see you do your part and he will do his part. It's like a test to see how responsible you really are.
I love you guys and carry what I said in each of you.

Best Summer Ever!!!!
Hey guys summer is nearly over and if you have been bored all this holiday what the hell have you been doing? Just because you are stuck in the same place for summer doesn't mean that you can't make the best of it right? You may think you may have so much fun on holiday, but start treating where you are like a holiday, as in make the most of your time.
My summer has been amazing and it has been the best so far, I met new people this year via Hillsong Church London and they are so amazing. They all carry the Spirit of Love with them, as soon as you meet them they want to know you more and this summer I had the privilege to go to their summer camp. Now I have never been to a Christian camp and I am telling you it was live, things that I didn't expect happened and lets just say I am holding onto God more than ever before.
I know people who would read this blog and be like "oh my she is talking about her God again" all I have to say is tough..... SNM.
I have also made great friends from there and they have made my life much easier, when the Bible says don't be unequally yoked and you don't follow, you will learn the hard way. Glad I stayed out of sin city this summer, usually it will be filled with partying and other rubbish that didn't add to my life, but God really showed up and brought amazing people my way.
I still have a lot of spiritual growing to do, it's like a child's critical period from the ages of 3-5 and if anything disrupts that critical period, development may be slow. Now I know I don't want that to happen and this summer has been my critical period, I have just been relying on God and growing in Him. I believe this summer was really a test to show God how much I care and love him, I believe I have passed that test and I shouldn't let life's trouble such as College (don't get me started) draw me away from loving him.
Love you guys and stay blessed

The best week of my life
I got back from Hillsong Summer Camp yesterday 13th August 2010 and I am telling you it was intense. I don't even know how to describe it. The most amazing things happened and I feel free and more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. I saw people change and God working through peoples lives, there was no denying God's presence.
Elijah Waters is the most amazing preacher ever and I am so glad that God is working through him and God is so amazing because he can just chose certain people to capture the heart of 100s of teenagers. What really got to me the last night was the preaching and when he was talking about his dad, I am not going to go deep into it, I was like dude, I feel what you felt and that is what super cut me up. That night I believe God convicted everyones heart and people are now changed. I wish summer camp could last forever, but the preachers and people aren't always going to be there. It is now up to us to finally take a stand and say no mas to the peer pressure of sex and rugs and drinking, we now have to get into relationships that bring us closer to Christ. As soon as I got home I deleted quite a few people off my facebook, people who I do not want to be associated with, even though I will have to see them at college, I am staying away. While they are wasting away, I am going to be rubbing souls with Christ. AMEN!!!!!
Guys you so should have been there. There God has really moved me and spoken to me, I know that he is now working in my life.
I love you guys and I will be coming back with more blogs about Wildlife Summer Camp 2010.
Love you guys and start rubbing souls with the right people
XOXO
