Making an impact and keeping your career/vision/dreams alive.

Hey guys, I am back for another blog and this time I am talking about keeping your dream and vision alive, from a Christian perspective. (I am done with caring what others think when I use Jesus as an example).

MAKE AN IMPACT
I have always thought to my self that if there is something that you really want to do, do it. Whether it's in the field of performing arts or sciences, do it. The world is waiting on you to make an impact. Like the Francesca Battistelli song says, "It's your life, what you gonna do the world is watching you" I am 17 and I know I want to make an impact in my generation. Actually I NEED to make an impact in my generation, I can't leave this world knowing that I didn't make an impact in anyones lives, I might as well be like the rest of the world.
I want to make an impact for the better so that people are talking about me and my work 2,000+ years later. Look at Jesus people are talking about him. Whether you believe in him or not, as soon as you say Jesus, you are talking about Him. Another thing people still believe in him 2,000+ years later.
Shakespeare, who is considered to be the greatest play writer ever is still being talked about today, even though he died in like the 1600. Charles Dickens an English literature writer who died in the 1800's, people are talking about his work. I want that too be me and I want there to be accounts of people that I made an impact on.

YOUR CAREER/VISION/DREAM
Don't let people discourage you when it comes to the vision you have been given. People have always asked me, how are you going to get your career going? How are you going to get the money? Who is going to help you? It gets really annoying when people ask you questions like this all the time. What about you? What are you doing to get to your chosen career? Are you working on it now? Or are YOU making up excuses not to start your career or keep the vision you have for your life alive? I heard a preacher say, "man delights in the end product, but God delights from the beginning", (well something like that was said). I have always been told that no-one is too young to start living for their destiny, you don't need to wait till you have your degree to fully do what you need to do. Have you talked to people who are in your relevant career? I know I have. Right now I am in contact with someone who works in Hollywood and I have asked them about tips to make my scripts better and what department of the production world they work in, this helped me a lot because I can get a better understanding of other departments of the video production world . I am also working on two screen writing projects and that is what I am doing to keep my dream alive. Hollywood ain't gonna come to me overnight, I have too meet it half way. No way I am going to be a Hollywood writer if I don't start writing Hollywood.

Some people consider it arrogance if you constantly go on about where you want to be, once God is in the equation it ain't arrogant because he is in the equation. They consider it arrogance because they can't see the foundation but they can see the end product. The buildings we see now, when they were first built it looked like a mess. Bricks everywhere, planks and scaffolds, now they are beautiful buildings. From that all I have to say is, don't rely on man to make your dream come alive, we each have our own responsibilities and don't just leave God to do all the work. He wants to see you do your part and he will do his part. It's like a test to see how responsible you really are.

I love you guys and carry what I said in each of you.
